- Step 1
a. Click on the SIP Trunks menu item.

a. Select Generic > Generic VoIP Provider
- Step 3
a. Enter a name for the trunk. This is for your reference.
b. Enter the hostname and Outbound Proxy as per your SIP trunk account. This is confirmed at the top of the page when editing your trunk (eg
account.intervoip.co.uk). Ensure Auto Discovery is enabled.
c. Select the authentication as Register / Account-Based.
d. Enter the Authentication ID and password as per what you have set on your SIP Trunk in the control panel.
e. On the same page, select the DIDs tab.
f. Select the Add DID button.
g. Enter your DDI numbers in the format of +44123456789.
h. Remember to click on ‘OK’ to save.
i. On the same page, select the Outbound Parameters tab.
j. Locate the ‘From: User Part’ section.
k. Make sure that this is set to “AuthID” authentication.
- Step 4 – Outbound Rules
a. Click on the Outbound Rules menu item. Below are examples of how to set rules for UKN and e164 formats.
b. Enter a rule name (eg UK44).
c. Enter 44 into the ‘Calls to numbers starting with prefix’ field.
d. Select your route out. All other fields can be left blank.
e. Enter a rule name (eg UK0).
f. Enter 0 into the ‘Calls to numbers starting with prefix’ field.
g. Select your route out. All other fields can be left blank.
