What is Call Recording?

Record your telephone calls and save them within your account or have them upload to an FTP server of your choice. Setup on specific features such as Telephone Extensions, Feature Codes, Numbers, and more.

What is the cost?

Call Recording is charged based on both it being enabled and the storage period on our platform.

The recording fee is £0.005 per minute, and then £0.008 per minute for each month you store it on our platform.

If you have an FTP or SFTP server available, we can automatically send your recordings to your FTP/SFTP server immediately after each call so you do not have to pay to store them on our platform.

*There is a small charge for the FTP service.

Add Call Recording

How do I set it up?

You can add Call Recording Groups in your control panel under Hosted VoIP > Manage > Features > Call Recording > New

Once you have created your recording group, you can choose the default expiry date (when calls will expire/delete from our platform), whether to email the recording to a destination, % of the call to record and whether to record inbound and/or outbound calls.

Once you have set its configuration, you’ll need to edit a feature (Extension, Telephone Number, Feature Code) to set it to record against your chosen recording group.
